Community Club Leaders Message:

Hello Jamul Chaparros!

Hard to believe that our final meeting of 2016 is upon us! Please mark your calendars for December 13th  at 6:30 pm  for our December Unit Meeting and Holiday Party. The club will provide drinks and pizza with members providing side dishes and dessert (details below), as well as a small gift for our members to exchange.

Thank you for the fundraising ideas you all provided at the last meeting. We are looking into our options and will update you with information as we get it!

A number of our members attended the County Achievement Night last weekend. Congratulations to Natalie Helms for receiving our member of the year award!

Do you feel the need for a little Spring, uhhhh, Winter cleaning??? The Santee Swap Meet fundraiser is on December 10th from 8:30 to 4:00pm. If you would like to drop off items to be sold, they can be dropped off until November 9th.  The money raised by County 4-H goes to support many of the events you will hear about this year!

President’s Message

Thank you all for voting for me to get the member of the year award!  I love 4-H and it’s nice to be recognized for my accomplishments.   I would like to congratulate Wendy for being voted leader of the year.  I know I’m not the only one who appreciates her dedication and hard work for our club.

Natalie

December Meeting and Holiday Party Details:   For our members with last names from A-M, please bring a salad or side dish. Members with names N-Z, please bring a dessert. Our members enjoy our annual gift exchange every year. We ask that you spend no more than $10 on an item. Gently used items are also welcome!!!

Jamul Chaparros Pride T-Shirts:  Please consider showing your Jamul Chaparros Pride by sporting a club t-shirt at all 4-H events!  You may purchase a t-shirt from our Supply Officer, Jason Morris, at any unit meeting.
